Today was our annual visit to the pumpkin patch. The kids loved it. They liked playing with the big pumpkins. Bray enjoyed his first visit actually getting to see the pumpkins. Last year I was almost 8 months pregnant when we visited. I think what I like most about Burt's Pumpkin Farm is that is always stays the same. Same locations of pumpkins, same RED wood chips (nice color casts, as if the pumpkins weren't bad enough already), and same talking pumpkins on the hayride. The lines are always long and the smell inside the barn is delicious.

We stopped to take a few pictures, then the kids each picked out a pumpkin. Ben wanted the "blue" one, go figure. Delia picked a pretty yellow one (that variety may be new, I don't remember it last year), and Bray picked out the warty kind.

When asked what the best part of visiting the pumpkin farm, both kids answered "riding behind the tractor". I think if Bray could answer, he would agree. He loved looking out of the trailer at all of the pretty trees and talking pumpkins. It sure was a cold one! I think 49 degrees is as cold as I like it!

Wow! What a great pumpkin patch and a great picture! Our pumpkin "patch" is at a mall parking lot...It's just not the same thing.

The tones are gorgeous in this one! I love how D looks so little amongst all the pumpkins and trees.
