Day One of Disney. Rain, rain, go away. We were totally drenched today until the early afternoon. It would have been easy to let the rain spoil our fun, but we didn't let it. The kids had a blast jumping in the puddles and running in the rain. We got a chance to meet Mickey (out of the rain), and the princesses, then we headed to Fantasyland, where there were a lot of indoor rides such as It's a Small World, Peter Pan's flight, the Carrousel. We all rode the Dumbo ride. We LOVED Mickey's PhilharMagic 3D movie. The kids loved it. They were laughing and taking their glasses off and feeling the air in front of their faces checking to make sure nothing was about to touch them. I absolutely loved watching them. It was hard to take my eyes off of Ben who was sitting next to me. A guy took this with Brent's phone. Ben is under the white blob. You can see his cool buttons he got to wear this week!

Next, we headed to Tomorrowland. We drove the cars in Tomorrowland Speedway. Delia was a pretty good driver. I think the pink Mustang is paying off already. We also rode Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. That was fun! And somehow we found ourselves in Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress...if you ever see "audio animatronics" just keep going. Ben, however, loved it. It wasn't so much the talking mannequins as it was the moving floor. That boy cracks me up. I guess a moving floor is another form of transportation. We rode the PeopleMover, which is relaxing and another way to get away from the rain.

It is hard to remember now, but we *think* we went to Frontierland, which is by far our favorite area. We had so much fun over there! The kids LOVED what we called the "runaway train" but is called Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

We rounded out the day with dinner then, the Main Street Light Parade. It was a fun day!

And I didn't dare bring my camera out in the downfall, so these are the only pictures I personally took today (with Brent's iPhone). We do have other pictures that are on the way from Disney as I write this that the park photographers took of us. Thank goodness we have a few pictures of all of us to remember our first day of Disney together!
