Day 10: Childhood Memory

When I first looked over the list of prompts last week, I wondered what I would take a picture of for today. As I was walking through the garden section of Wal-Mart of all places, I thought of my Granny. When I was growing up, one of the memories I have of going to her house is of all of the beautiful flowers in her flower beds. In particular, I remember her letting us pick snap dragons. We would squeeze them together and pretend they were talking. She had all colors. Yellow, red and yellow, white, purple...I wasn't able to go to her today, and I doubt there are any snap dragons blooming, so I took a picture of a pretty daisy that I had been noticing on my drive out of the neighborhood (in my pajamas!). I've had a lot of disclaimers today...haha.

Love the composition and the softness of your first shot. Great contrast on the second one.

Gorgeous! Daisies are my all time favorite flower. These photos would look great on a canvas in my house...
