Grandma wanted the kids for the weekend, so we got up, Ben slept in until almost 730, Delia had to be awakened at 830, and went and had breakfast at Longstreet. It has been a while since we have gone there as a family. The ladies that work there know Delia and I well. It was great as usual. Then off to Grandmas house. The kids had no complaints when we left.

The rest of the day was spent doing not much of anything. Just enjoying the quiet of the house. Brent cleared out some things from Delia's new room. We watched a couple of movies on USA (which is geared toward future Hyundai owners--how do you spell Hyundai??--there were about a million commercials). Juno is a funny movie. I enjoyed that one. Then we played a couple of rounds of Rummikub. Need to get some practice in before we go to Charleston to see the Blackwells in a few weeks. Lame I know, be have already eaten out a couple of times this weekend already.

Not sure what she was crying about...but the lip and the big tear are classic. Daddy is putting her shoes on for her. Poor baby.

I love the pout and tear! I think it's wonderful to capture "real-life" moments like this. You'll cherish it in a few years!
