What a day!!!! It has been a busy one. Momma didn't get her "quiet time" and Brent is going to a work dinner...not a good equation for me. So, to better deal with the kiddos, I decided to put them in water. And in order to make it fun for me, I asked them to SPLASH! (for this one time, and one time only...) so that I could take a few pictures of them all in the tub. The bathroom was soaked (Brent would not approve) but I think I got a few cute shots.

Poor little guy. He is having "issues" with homework already and it hasn't even been a month yet. He is a little OCD when it comes to his homework. If the letters aren't perfect, he starts getting all upset and whiney...which leads to an argument between the two of us. He doesn't seem to understand that while trying your hardest, sometimes things are still not going to be perfect. I'm happy with him trying his best, and just putting forth the effort with a good attitude. He wants to erase anything that isn't perfect...or write a big fat "X" on it...or start over completely...or whine and cry about it. How do you make a 5 year old understand that practice (and patience) and effort and hard work go into everything worth learning about??? Here are a few pictures of him completing his homework before I left him to finish it up....and getting a desk for homework is in the plans.

It's a spider. I have no idea what kind. I saw him crawling across the foyer. While most people would step on him and kill him...I go to the kitchen to grab my camera and put on the macro lens....and hope that he is still there when I return. Luckily, this little cutie was! After our little photo shoot, I escorted him out the front door.
